The process chain group consists of several large automotive production plants. On the industrial site in Naberezhnye Chelny there are a foundry and forge plants, an engine factory (PD), a press-frame factory (PFF), a car factory (AvF), a repair and tool factory (RTF), the Industrial Park Master. On November 23, 2005, a joint venture of the German concern ZF Friedrichshafen AG and KAMAZ PJSC - Limited Liability Company TF KAMA was opened. This is the first production created at KAMAZ with the participation of a foreign company and manufacturing products under its trademark. And the first example of the organization of industrial production of world-class high-tech products in Russia. The joint venture annually produces 27,000 transmissions. An agreement was signed to increase the production capacity of the joint venture from nine to 40 thousand transmissions per year.
In January 2006, documents were signed between KAMAZ and the American firm Cummins Inc on the creation of a joint venture CUMMINS KAMA for the production of B-series engines for the Russian market. The authorized capital of the company is $ 20 million, the shares of the founders are distributed equally in it. The company produces engines with electronic control "Euro-3" and "Euro-4", in accordance with the regulations adopted in Russia environmental standards.
In December 2007, KAMAZ signed an agreement with Knorr-Bremse System fur Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH on the establishment of a joint venture in Naberezhnye Chelny for the production of KNORR-BREMSE KAMA brake mechanisms with equal shares of the parties in the authorized capital.
On March 10, 2008, the statutory documents of a joint venture for the production of cylinder-piston group parts between Federal Mogul Corporation (USA) and PJSC KAMAZ with equal shares of the parties in the authorized capital - Federal Mogul Naberezhnye Chelny were signed.
In December 2008, the German concern Daimler AG acquired 10% of the share capital of KAMAZ, which marked the beginning of a new mutually beneficial strategic partnership between the two automakers. As a result of this strategic partnership in 2009, KAMAZ and Daimler AG signed agreements on the establishment of two joint ventures - Fuzo KAMAZ Trucks Rus for the production and sales of light trucks Fuso Canter in Russia and Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok for the production of and sales of heavy trucks Mercedes-Benz Actros and Axor. Today, the share of Daimler AG in the share capital of KAMAZ is 15%.
The pilots of the KAMAZ-master team demonstrate the clearest example of technical and sports skills. Crews of Chelny race drivers became numerous winners of international rallies and super marathons. The KAMAZ-master factory team won the Dakar international rally marathon thirteen times the informal world championship among truck manufacturers. The main focus of 2015 was the development of a family of promising KAMAZ vehicles with a cab that meets international standards. Bench tests of KAMAZ P6 engines with a power up to 700 hp have been carried out.
